In our over-connected culture, it can be hard to keep up with everything that is happening. Here are some of the best resources that I have found that can answer questions, encourage you and equip you to raise your students in the way of Jesus in this crazy culture. 

Culture Translator – Axis will email you once a week with what is going on in culture to help you stay up to date on the music, movies, TV shows, and social media trends impacting your kid’s world.

Axis Parent Guides – These guides on anxiety, grief, smartphones, TikTok, and Teen slang to name a few touches on what is going on in a teen’s world. They cover what is it like for teens, what the Bible says about it, practical steps to do with your teen, and more.

Axis Parent Conversation Kit – These kits are videos and questions you can watch with your students. They cover what is it like for teens, what the Bible says about it, practical steps to do with your teen, and more.

Axis Parent Blogs Created by psychologists to parents you can find helpful resources from helping your student to worship to how 2020 affected your student. You can select topics from Social media to Sexuality and browse articles. 

Parent Cue – Parent Cue has created some amazing resources from Life maps to a Cell Phone Agreement to Questions to get to know your student better. They also have a free app that once you plug in your kid or students will give you the best times to have conversations, pray for, or connect based on the age, where they are developmentally, and the availability of your student. 

Fuller Youth Institute – Fuller has a ton of great articles and books about sticky faith and technology along with articles about everything youth.

Life Maps – These Life Maps are divided into sections by phase with specific strategies, questions, and words you can say to engage your kid in a meaningful, practical, age-appropriate way. 

Common Sense Media – CSM is an organization that reviews and provides ratings for media and technology with the goal of providing information on their suitability for children and teens. If you are curious about what’s in a book, movie, or TV show they will be able to let you know.

Family Equipping Resources –  YouTube videos about when should students start dating? Should they use social media? How to discuss sexuality and gender with students?
